REopt Analysis Services
NREL offers expert analysis services using the REopt model, which provides techno-economic decision support throughout the energy planning process—from portfolio-level screening to project development to energy asset operation.
NREL’s REopt analysis services include renewable energy screening, microgrid and resiliency analysis, campus planning, and energy/water analysis. If you are interested in engaging NREL to conduct a REopt analysis, you can:
- Partner with NREL under a technology partnership agreement.
- Request technical assistance funding from the U.S. Department of Energy’s Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) (federal agencies only)
- Request technical assistance funding from the Solar Technical Assistance Team (state and local governments only).
If you have an agreement with NREL or FEMP to conduct a REopt screening analysis, download the REopt site screening form.
Select REopt capabilities are available via the REopt Lite web tool, which allows users to evaluate the economic viability of grid-connected PV and battery storage at a site.
